SECTIONS.—Part powers defined

As discussed in the previous sections, copper can be either electrolytically plated to an entire surface, and fhen photographically defined using etching, or selectively plated. In both cases, the entire surface of the part is electrically at the same potential and is then connected to a power supply during the plating operation. [Pg.358]

By this article, appeals will lie to the supreme court, in all criminal as well as civil causes. This I know, has been disputed by some but I presume the point will appear clear to any one, who will attend to the connection of this paragraph with the one that precedes it. In the former, all the cases, to which the power of the judicial shall extend, whether civil or criminal, are enumerated. There is no criminal matter, to which the judicial power of the United States will extend but such as are included under some one of the cases specified in this section. For this section is intended to define all the cases, of every description, to which the power of the judicial shall reach. But in all these cases it is declared, the supreme court shall have appellate jurisdiction, except in those which affect ambassadors, other public ministers and consuls, and those in which a state shall be a party. If then this section extends the power of the judicial, to criminal cases, it allows appeals in such cases. If the power of the judicial is not extended to criminal matters by this section, I ask, by what part of this system does it appear, that they have any cognizance of them ... [Pg.517]

Section XI of the ASME Boiler and Pressure Code [6.1] is the standard for operation and in-service inspection of nuclear power plant facilities. Examination Category B-N-3 of Section XI, Subsection IWB, provides requirements for the visual examination of core support structures. These requirements refer to the relevant conditions defined in IWB-3520.4 which include loose, missing, cracked, or fractured parts, bolting, or fasteners. [Pg.72]

When a computerized I C system is part of a backfit or an upgrade, its function in ensuring the safety of the nuclear power plant should be considered. The safety classification of the I C system should be established according to the criteria given in Section 2. Requirements for system reliability, qualification and quality assurance and other requirements will be defined in accordance with the safety classification. [Pg.71]
