Therefore, student aggression and violence not only affect the individual student s own emotional well-being bnt also significantly affect everyone in the school environment (Batsche, 1997). These behaviors lead to disrupted learning and compromise the instructional time for all students (Martini-Scully et al., 2000). Schools promote learning when children feel safe and supported.
