Beyond publishing in the above-mentioned journals, some members of the society printed their own works. In the short period of 1834 1836, the most important publication channel for Cracow chemists and pharmacists was Pami- tnik Farmaceutyczny Krakowski (The Cracow Pharmaceutical Diary), founded and run by Florian Sawiczewski, a professor of chemistry. Chemistry-related topics were the explored in more than 25% of all articles published in this periodical. 

Florian Sawiczewski (1797 1876), physician and pharmacist, professor of chemistry at Cracow University between 1829 and 1851, member of the Cracow Scientific Society and the Physiographic Committee On completion of his studies at Cracow, he undertook a study trip to Paris, Vienna and Erfurt. The author of numerous papers in chemistry, pharmacy and pharmacognosy, published in Polish and German.
