Figure 4 shows the results of rolling-contact fatigue tests. The fatigue property was evaluated by the parameter NP which was determined from the mean effective load, Rm in kN times the number of contacts, N in millions. It is obvious that material A and Dl (bearing grade) showed superior NPm values than those of other samples. Material C2 showed the smallest value, which was easily expected from both lowest Young s modulus and hardness, Hv values. [Pg.95]
