Safety committees reporting unsafe conditions

The working committee is usually composed of five or six supervisors who work directly with employees in the situations where accidents can occur. This committee meets regularly to report on unsafe conditions and practices, assist in the investigation of accidents, make recommendations for improved safety practices, discuss ways to improve compliance with safety practices, and other duties. 

The safety and health committee will participate in periodic inspections to review the effectiveness of the safety program and make recommendations for improvement of unsafe and unhealthy conditions.
