Rubber Makers Sulfur

Charles Goodyear discovered that elemental sulfur could be used to vulcanize (cure) natural rubber in 1839. Rubber maker s sulfur is now, by far, the most common vulcanizing agent used by the rubber industry. [Pg.263]
