With the aid of the Ring File Number RF 9225, the structural formula can be found in the Ring Systems File. 

The Ring Name Index is an alphabetical list of the systematic names of all ring systems, e.g. Benzo[4,5]indeno[l,2-c]pyrrole [RF 40064]. The Ring File Number allows access to the Ring Systems File.

In the Ring Systems File, containing 84,000 ring systems, the entries are arranged in order of their ring analysis, that means the short description of the cyclic skeletons (Sect. 2.1.3.4). Each entry provides the information shown in Fig. 73. 

The Ring Systems File (Fig. 76) not only provides the systematic CA Index Name, with which the literature search can be continued in the Chemical Abstracts volume indexes, but also shows the abstract number in which the substance was first reported (Chemical Abstracts Volume 81 published in 1974).
