In the following sections, the author addresses some aspects on efficient solutions for retrofitting RC-framed stmctures using FRP composites to prevent their collapse in addition, the required recoverability and controllability are examined. 

Four different rehabilitation techniques were tested by Ghobarah and Said (2002) for one-way exterior joints, originally designed to fail in joint shear. One system consists of wrapping the reinforced concrete joint area with
