Restraints definition

Documenting the expected performance of the system, process, or equipment item the system or process restraints and the failure definitions of the equipment items, the process, or the system. 

During the process of lithification and deep burial illite appears to remain stable or at least is slow to react with other minerals. It is by far the most dominant species of clay mineral in argillaceous sedimentary rocks (Grim, 1968 Millot, 1964). In early burial, the overall illite content of a specimen may decrease during adjustment to bulk chemical and physical restraints (Perry and Hower, 1970) however most studies of deeply buried sediments show a definite increase in illite as pressures and temperatures increase (Millot, et al., 1965 Dunoyer de Segonzac, 1969 ... 

The most definitive proof of p-sheet structure requires the determination of the three-dimensional solution structure of the peptide. For the calculation of such structures one requires the accurate determination of coupling constants by DQF-COSY experiments which give backbone dihedral restraints and through-space connectivities (ROESY or NOESY experiments) which give rise to distance restraints. A combination of these restraints allows the calculation of the three-dimensional structure of the peptide using restrained molecular dynamics simulations. Utilizing this methodology, the three-dimensional structures of a number of cyclic peptides have been solved.[411... 

This is an extreme example of a clause in a patent assignment agreement which contravenes public policy and is therefore unenforceable. This principle serves as an effective restraint upon unreasonable employee invention assignment agreements. However, the courts have approved asignments of future inventions within the scope of the agreement if the time is definite and reasonable, such as for one year after termination of employment. 

The concepts discussed regarding the symmetry restrictions and their removal can be described in a number of ways. Complete correlation diagrams can be constructed and the forbiddenness illustrated by sharp orbital crossings 20). Although definitive, this approach would not as clearly illustrate the nature of the restraints to reaction. 

A heterogeneous system is one consisting of two or more phases. By definition, these are separated from each other by surfaces of discontinuity in one or more of the intensive properties. We will assume that the phases are originally isolated, with each of them in internal equilibrium, and thus that each phase is homogeneous. The problem is thereby reduced to finding conditions on the intensive properties which are necessary and sufficient to ensure equilibrium after the restraint of isolation is removed. The heterogeneous system considered here is an solated system in which no chemical reactions occur.
