Rerf-Butylamine

II ferf-Butoxy-l-chloromethylsulfonyl)-4 methylbenzene, 57, 100 sec-Butyl alcohol, 58, 78 ferf-Butyl alcohol, 58, 78 ferf-Butyl alcohol, potassium salt, 56, 29 rerf-Butylamine, 55, 96 1 Butvl-2-chlorobenzene 58, 133... [Pg.179]

Aliphatic azo compounds may be obtained on anodic oxidation of A,A -dialkylhy-drazines amines or their derivatives may be oxidized to azo compounds in some cases. Anodic oxidation at a graphite electrode of rerf-butylamine containing some aqueous sodium perchlorate thus yields 2,2 -azoisobutane together with some azoxy-te Y-butane and minor amounts of nitro-fe/t-butane [83]. [Pg.388]

Method B. cWV-rerf-ButyUysergamide Maleate (lb). A refluxing slurry of 3.15 g of d-lysergic acid in 150 ml of CHCls was treated with 7.1 g (96 mmol) of ferf-butylamine in 25 ml of CHCls and 2 ml of POCh which were added simultaneously from separate dropping funnels over 2-3 min. The reaction mixture was kept at reflux for another 3-5 min until a clear, amber solution resulted. The solution was cooled to room temperature and worked up in the same manner as described above giving 2 g of lb. The reactants were scaled up eight times for the preparation of le. [Pg.5]
