The similar trend are observed for Li- and L2-shell electrons in Au. The momentum distribution for the L3-shell electrons is shown in Fig. 9.2. There is small difference between the screened hydrogenic wave functions and the realistic wave functions. This is called the wave-function effect. The relativistic effect can be seen, but is smaller in comparison with the K-shell electrons. For the Ls-shell electrons, Talukdar et al.
