Under TSCA 6(a), if the Administrator finds that there is a reasonable basis to conclude that the manufacture, processing, distribution in commerce, use or disposal of a chemical substance or mixture. .. presents. .. an unreasonable risk of injury to health or the environment, the EPA Administrator is required to initiate rulemaking to take one or a combination of the following actions  [Pg.348]

All chemicals subject to rules under TSCA 6 are also subject to the export notification requirements of TSCA 12, so there is no need for a ban or restriction to explicitly require export notifications.  [Pg.349]
