Refueling and garage facilities

It is important to know and realize that building codes are recommendations about how facilities should be constructed (e.g., refueling and garage facilities). They attempt to cover as many circumstances as possible to be comprehensive. But building codes become law only when they are adopted by the local authority having jurisdiction, which is usually the local fire marshall.
