Reflex description

Studied in ref. [26] is the effect of HFC reaction conditions on the configuration sequences in POCS-4. Since the mesomorphous state in PMCS-4 is formed in stereoregular trans-tactic polymers only [27, 32] and spatial configuration of initial monomers is not always fully preserved in poly-mers, the effect of HFC conditions on transformation of =Si-CI and =Si-OH centers in initial corn-pounds has been studied. The detected fact of cyclosiloxanes partial inversion at Cl atoms substitution at silicon was expected, as reported before [33, 34], More detailed description of reflex correlation was carried out in ref. [35], Symbols and mark projections of units and bonds to the pla-ne perpendicular to the cycle plane. 

Indeed, the initial description of phenylketonuria in 1934 was made by observing the reaction of phenylpyruvate with FeCl3, which turns the urine olive green. Almost all untreated phenylketonurics are severely mentally retarded. In fact, about 1% of patients in mental institutions have phenylketonuria. The brain weight of these people is below normal, myelination of their nerves is defective, and their reflexes are hyperactive. The life expectancy of untreated phenylketonurics is drastically shortened. Half are dead by age 20 and three-quarters by age 30. The biochemical basis of their mental retardation is an enigma. 

Here, improper science is still science it is systematic it may use mathematics, but it is fully dependent on empirical generalizations—to be distinguished from mere description (which may be an art, governed by reflexive judgment, but without much of grounds and consequences and no prospect of using mathematical tools). 

Description Herbaceous perennial. Leaves in basal rosettes, broad-eUiptic to broad-ovate, 4-21 cm long, 3-14 cm wide, 3-9 parallel veins, sheathing petiolate. Inflorescences dense, erect, narrow-cylindric spikes, 5-15 cm tall peduncles 15-70 cm tall bracts ovate, acute. Corolla greenish or yellowish white with 4 reflexed lobes. Fruit a 2-seeded, circumscis-sile capsule. Seeds 1-1.5 mm long, densely reticulate. 

Second, the same public and media discourse that provides the raw evidence of moral panic, uses the concept as first-order description, reflexive comment or criticism. These are shortterm reactions to the immediate ( the current moral panic about paedophiles ) and long term general reflections on the state-of-our-times . 

Extrinsic and intrinsic nervous systems as well as local and circulating gastrointestinal hormones contribute to local and centrally mediated reflex mechanisms that regulate GI function, ingestion, secretion, mixing and propulsion, and absorptimi of food and defecation reflexes that force the fecal material into the rectum by intense mass movements (detailed description can be found in Guyton and HaU Text Book of Medical Physiology Hall 2011).
