Hydrogen is not an attractive intermediate transport medium for electricity. If electricity is the desired end product, transmitting electricity is usually more beneficial than the production, transport and re-electrification of hydrogen, e.g., in fuel cells, owing to electricity s better overall efficiency and lower costs. 

Second, electricity stored as hydrogen is versatile. Not only can it be used for re-electrification, it also can potentially be used as fuel for cars or for producing heat. 

The site has recently (autumn 2007) been competed and put into operation. Individual components have been comissioned but overall system measurements are to be obtained in the near future. The 30-kW PEM fuel-cell re-electrification facility is the largest one known in the world to work in grid-parallel mode. 

Rare-earth diketonates incorporated into polymers that result in new triboluminescent materials have been investigated by Takada and coworkers . Although some RE + compounds exhibit no TL in powder form, the TL phenomenon has been observed when these compounds are dispersed in a polymer matrix and the TL mechanism is adduced to electron impact caused by discharge due to a high electric field arising from frictional electrification between the fihn and the substrate.
