Raman Mapping and Imaging of Trees

During the last years, various wood species have been investigated by Raman mapping with the aim to image the macromolecular composition of cell wall layers at high spatial resolution. 

A detailed protocol for imaging of plant ceU walls by Raman imaging is summarized in GierUnger et al. [118].
