Quick material change

The strong global competition has been increasing the pressure to an efficient operation of chemical batch plants. Flexible batch plants are used to react quickly to changes in customers demands. The variations in the demands as well as, e.g., the prices of raw materials, or the yields ofthe production process are not exactly known at the time of scheduling. When these uncertainties are not sufficiently considered in the scheduling, the operations will lead to lower profits or even losses. 

The applicability of CM to a wide range of styles, all starting from the same raw materials, increases its economic desirability. This also permits the producer to respond quickly to changing market demands. Moreover, it is applicable globally, in all wine-growing regions. 

Present traffic patterns around the presses for die and material flow will aid prestaging material and dies for quick die change. Having an instant success provides the momentum to continue the program and motivate the employees on the production floor to support the quick die change effort. 

Special-Purpose Resins, Repair Resins. Fractured acryflc dentures can be repaired with materials similar in composition to cold-cured denture resins. These materials generally cure more rapidly because of the relative simple manipulations involved. The process is quick and there is fltde dimensional change, but the strength of the repaired denture may be only half that of the original appliance (213). Test methods and requirements of these materials are given in ANSI/ADA specification no. 13 for denture cold-curing repair resins.
