Pyrrolidine, chiral copper ligand

Cycloaddition of nitrones and pyrazolinones with a copper catalyst and a chiral ligand leads to pyrrolidine derivatives with good enantioselectivity. [Pg.1192]

In a study on copper-catalyzed enantioselective intramolecular aminooxygenation of alkenes, Chemler and coworkers showed that this reaction allows s)uithesis of chiral indolines and pyrrolidines. Accordingly, the protected amino-diol 53 undergoes aminooxygenation in the presence of copper triflate, bisox-azoline ligands, and molecular oxygen to provide the desired spirodecane 54 in 87% yield and 89% ee (eq 19). ... [Pg.214]
