Proquinazid powdery mildew

Proquinazid acts in a preventative manner and does not show a significant curative activity against powdery mildew pathogens. It is locally systemic and allows, similar to cyflufenamid and metrafenone, for the protection of untreated leaves or neighboring plants by distribution of the active ingredient via the vapor phase [29]. [Pg.735]

Du Pont has recently launched proquinazid as the market products Talius and Talendo to control powdery mildew infections in the cereal and the grapevine sectors. With its new mode of action and its preventative ability, the active ingredient allows for excellent residual pathogen control. [Pg.736]
