3 Process of Hybrid Genetic Algorithm Based on Stochastic Simulation [Pg.114]

The process of hybrid genetic algorithm is shown in Fig. 5.3. The steps in detail are [Pg.114]

Step 1 Identify and input population size pop size, crossover probability mutation probability and termination of generations max gcM. [Pg.114]

Step 2 Produce chromosome population by initialization and generate pop size chromosomes randomly. Population size has great influence on the results of genetic algorithm. To ensure the diversity of population and prevent the algorithm from converging on local optimal solution, population size should be around 90. [Pg.114]

Step 3 Calculate the crossover and the mutation of the chromosomes and verify the feasibility of the future generations based on stochastic simulation according to Sect. 5.3.2. [Pg.114]


The termination condition is determined by the max number of generation max gen. If timplement Step 3-Step 6 during the process of hybrid genetic algorithm based on stochastic simulation (in Sect. 5.3.3). [Pg.119]
