Kuchin and T. O. Yakovleva, Issled. Obi. Khim. Vysokomol. Soedin. Neftekhim., 1977, 8 Chem. Abstr., 1980, 93, 26 483. [Pg.65]

The addition of trialkylalanes to alkenes is also catalysed by dicyclopentadienyl-zirconium dichloride to afford hydroalumination products that undergo protonolysis to yield alkanes. Thus, reaction of oct-l-ene with Bu gAl with a catalytic quantity of cpaZrCl2 at 0 °C gives n-octane in 97 % yield. Reduction of alkenes containing hydroxyl, phenylthiolato, and bromo functions can also be reduced in the same way.  [Pg.66]

With cyclo-octadienylnickel(0) the polynuclear complexes (14) and (15) are formed, whereas with nickel(n) bromide, octaphenylcyclo-octatetraene is obtained in both cases.  [Pg.67]

Perkampus, Synth. React. Inorg. Met.-Org. Chem., [Pg.70]

The synthesis, stability, and properties of phenylaluminium tetrahydroborates have been studied, PhgAl dissolves readily in Al(BH4)s to give the solid dimeric compound PhaAKBH ).  [Pg.85]

The synthesis and properties of tris(trimethylgermyl)aluminium have been described, whilst the compound ignited spontaneously in air it had astonishingly [Pg.85]

The new six-membered ring compound (8), has bwn prepared by the reaction of [MesP-BHa-PMcal+Br- with LiAlH.  [Pg.86]

Schmidbaur, G. Muller, U. Schubert, and O. Orama, Angew. Chem., Internat. Edn., 1978,17,126. [Pg.86]

Isopropyliminoalane (HAINPr s reacts with -caprolactam in the same manner as does EtsAl, the ligands on the aluminium atom being successively replaced by caprolactam ligands, giving ultimately aluminium caprolactamate in quantitative yields.  [Pg.87]

Preparations, Reactions, and Complexes.—The reactions of TICI3 with Grignard reagents prepared from acetylenic compounds have been reported. Thus reaction with BrMgC=CMgBr gave ClgTlCHgCHO after hydrolysis. The formation of the first tris(acetylenic)thallium was reported, from 1-ethynylcyclohexanol, (49). [Pg.104]
