3 Preparation of Electrospinning Solutions PEDOT-PSS in a PVAc Matrix [Pg.116]

Series of PEDOT/PVAc and PEDOT-PSS/PVAc composites and 10 wt% PVAc solution were prepared and stirred at room temperature with the speed of 400 rpm for 3 hrs. Electrospinning details are as follows The distance between the tip of the syringe needle and the A1 plate collector was 15 cm and the flow rate of the solution was 0.5 mL/h, while the electrical potential between the needle tip and the A1 plate was 10 kV [Pg.116]

Obtained fibers were characterized for both composites by Fourier transform infrared spectrophotometiy-attenuated total [Pg.116]

The positive electrode is the metal part of the needle and the negative part of the electrode is the metal collector. About 5 to 180 minutes of operation time was applied for the deposition of fibers on wax paper, aluminum foil, and ITO PET. A horizontal setup was chosen for the electrospinning process. A representative picture of design of electrospinning is illustrated in Fig. 4.5. [Pg.117]

In some cases the angle of spinning (vertical position) to spin was chosen vertically with a rotating collector (Fig. 4.6) and a speed of rotation of 1500 rpm and a voltage of 30 kV. [Pg.117]
