Although this investigation was preliminary, the Bureau of Mines has, nevertheless, demonstrated two new potential uses for sulfur—a mortar to produce prefabricated brick panels and a foamed lightweight... 

The construction industry is now applying structural bonding, a method of structural fabrication used in the aircraft industry. It has been used for manufacturing prefabricated panels where brick slips, or other decorative lacings, are bonded to epoxide resin concrete backings. In the construction industry, wood, concrete, and other building materials are also bonded with adhesives. Table 2 shows examples of adhesives used in the construction applications.
