Preemptive snacking

Make preemptive snacking part of your lifestyle. Start with breakfast. If you re not in a hurry to get out of the house, drink your glass of juice or have a slice of toast with the first cup of coffee twenty to thirty minutes before sitting down to the full meal. If you ve brown-bagged it for lunch at work, you won t overeat since there ll be only a limited amount of food in that bag. But if you re heading out for lunch, remember to have that snack before you leave. [Pg.66]
