The pre-exponential decay (pre-ED) regime, in a state-specific, very small time interval, [0,5f], where the system starts experiencing the effects of fhe bound-continuum mixing, but has not taken yet the avenue of irreversible exponential decay. Both formally and compufafionally for real, many-elecfron systems [94a], the dependence of on time in this regime is proportional to f, with a "stationarity coefficient" that expresses the degree of initial stability of fhe sfafe [94] and Secfion 4.
