Post-inspection activities and certification

After the inspection the inspector writes a report, making the appropriate recommendations concerning the organic production and practices of the unit. The report is then sent to the certification body for consideration. The decision may be taken either by an individual certification officer or a committee acting for the certification body. In general, certification decisions can take one of three routes (see Table 3.7)  [Pg.56]

Minor non-compliances reported Conditional approval Compliance Notice issued which specifies (a) Additional information to be supplied (b) Immediate correction of minor non-compliance ) identified Action to be agreed and acted upon by applicant before certificate can be issued [Pg.56]
