Costunolide (406) has been isolated not only from the Jungermanniales but also from the Marchantiales. Frullania species contain (H-)-costunolide (406) together with various eudesmanolides (27, 111). On the other hand, Porella japonica contains (406) together with various guaianolides 65). [Pg.67]
