Polyoxometalates quantum yields

TABLE 6 Emission and excitation maxima at 4.2 K, emission decay ("Ttripiet) and quantum yield (Otripie variety of polyoxometalates... [Pg.323]

Table 6 lists emission and excitation maxima, lifetimes associated with the two exponential decays (ttripiet)/ and quantum yields (Otnpiet) of the Tiu O M Imct triplet emission at 4.2 K for a variety of polyoxometalates (Yamase and Sugeta,... [Pg.325]

The species Ru4(P0M) has also been studied in light-driven water oxidation.[Ru(bpy)3] + has been used as the photosensitizer with persulfate as the sacrificial acceptor in a phosphate buffer. With this system, up to 350 turnovers and an initial turnover frequency of 810 s have been observed for the tetraruthenium-substituted POM, while the quantum yield has been found to be 0.045. A lower efficiency has been observed for the isostructural catalyst Ru4(p,-0)5(p,-0H)(H20)4(Y-PW 10036)2 , where phosphorous instead of silicon is present as the central heteroatom of the polyoxometalate units. [Pg.615]
