Polyolefinic Microbial Metabolites

A comprehensive list of fungal metabolites, with discussion on their biosynthetic origins and interrelationships, was published by Turner in 1971. Here we discuss the chemistry of all microbial metabolites which incorporate polyolefinic features within tWr structures. The Reporter has found it more convenient to discuss these compounds according to structural type rather than biosynthetic origin.
