Polymeric telluroxide

A useful modification of the bis(p-methoxyphenyl) telluroxide reagent is its immobilization on a polymeric resin. This polymer-supported reagent, prepared from p-methoxyphenyl tellurocyanate and polylp-Uthiostyrene), exhibits several advantages over the monomeric reagent, such as easier product work-up and multiple recycle from the spent reagent. [Pg.166]

Only a few tcllurinic acids have been prepared and characterized. The aliphatic tellurinic acids reported in the older literature are not pure compounds but mixtures of tellurinic acid and diorganyl telluroxide. The aromatic tellurinic acids appear to be polymeric. They are insoluble in common organic solvents and have rather high melting or decomposition temperatures. [Pg.346]
