Polymer supported peptide coupling agent

Ethyl-l,2-dihydro-2-ethoxy-l-quinolinecarboxylate (EEDQ) is used for forming peptide bond with no racemization. This reagent is now used as polymer supported EEDQ. The preparation of the polymer supported reagents is described in literature .

Very few attempts have been made to use soluUe polymer supports in the synthesis of peptides for extension of the carboxyl terminus. One example has been published by Royer and Anantharamaiah [33].
