Polyhydroxyethyl methacrylate PHEMA

Polyhydroxyethyl methacrylate (phema) is more soluble in water than polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA). Cross-linked phema, which swells but does not dissolve in water, is used in soft contact lenses. [Pg.207]
