Polychlorinated gem dichloro cyclohexadienones

As our aim was to bring to light the polychlorinated gem dichloro cyclohexadienones. within chlorination reaction masses, one of the most important parts of our study was to develop an efficient method of analysis capable of detecting traces amounts of these intermediates. 

A mixture of 2,4,6-trichlorochlorophenol and polychlorinated gem-dichloro-cyclohexadienones produces some polychlorophenoxyphenols. 

In this case too, the development of the mixture is a function of both the phenol (number and position of the chlorine atoms) and the polychlorinated gem-dichloro-cyclohexadienone.
