Poly di N-p-acryloyloxybenzylidene hydrazine PdiABH

Poly(p-phenylene-bis(N-methylene-p-aminostyrene)), (PPMAS), Poly(di(N-p-acryloyloxybenzylidene)hydrazine), (PdiABH). These difunctional monomers yield polymer networks upon bulk polymerization. No inner rings have been detected from the nematic organization. This has been explained (9) by the fact that both chain ends of the monomer are incorporated into the polymer main chains. In the case of complete conversion to polymer there are no side group ends giving large electron density fluctuations. [Pg.10]

Comparison with Crystalline Polymers. The structure of the polymers discussed above differs from that in crystallizable polymers with low degrees of crystallinity (poorly developed structure). Here the tendency to organize comes from the parallel packing of the side groups. There is no evidence that polymer [Pg.10]
