Plethodon Shenandoah

Gergits, W. F., 1982, Interference Competition and Territoriality Between the Terrestrial Salamanders Plethodon cinereus and Plethodon Shenandoah, M, S. Thesis, State University of New York at Albany, Albany. [Pg.201]

All of these characteristics have been studied with respect to interspecific territoriality between Plethodon cinereus and P. Shenandoah (Gergits, 1982) and for intraspecific territoriality within Plethodon cinereus (Jaeger, 1981, 1984 Jaeger et al., 1982). Details of the behavioral interactions of the latter species will be given in another paper, because they are outside the scope of the present review. Here, I shall give only a brief synopsis. [Pg.193]
