Planning catalog numbers

Catalog in hand, the laboratory planner places units containing drawers and cupboards where they should go. The plan should be marked off with the catalog numbers and will later be given to the cabinet supplier. Some suppliers offer planning kits to make the job easier. [Pg.77]

When the architect or designer presents the final drawings, the main layout and all details must be checked against earlier plans and instructions. All dimensions must be in agreement with those specified. Slight discrepancies in door and window locations, for instance, could have serious consequences. Any item which can be identified by catalog number, brand name, etc., should be so indicated on the drawings or in the written specifications. [Pg.96]

A hurried check of the catalogs of some 30 accredited library schools indicates that well over 50% of them offer some kind of training in the literature of science. A number of schools offer more than one course. The University of Illinois, for instance, offers two courses in the general field of science and three in special bibliography. Other courses in subject bibliography and a course in documentation are being planned. [Pg.24]
