Planar orientation of polyethylene terephthalate

It should be noted that other NMR methods are available for the study [Pg.287]

It appears that 2-D MAS side-band patterns are easier to simulate than the static lineshape. The information of a deuteron lineshape is usually found in regions of high slope (i.e in the vicinity of peaks and edges). Harbison et al. [126] note that MAS transforms this information into intensity data for side-bands for which a error is more readily determined. The use of the 2-D MAS method with deuterium is feasible and is a worthwhile alternative approach to simulation of the non-spin lineshape. The two approaches should yield the same answer but would be affected differently by experimental error. [Pg.288]
