Phosphine clusters

In the photochemical activation of CO2 the successful achievement of Ni catalysis is considered a milestone [62]. For the first time, a nickel-phosphine cluster can efficiently reduce CO2 to radical anion CO2 capable of carbon-carbon coupling reactions (cf. Section 3.3.4).
