Phosphazanes with P-NH Linkages

Included in this section are compounds containing P, N and H and additional elements. [Pg.506]

Trigonal bipyramidal 5-coordinated monophosphazanes containing some amino substituents are known. These can be made by vapour phase reactions of ammonia with tetrafluorochlorophospho-rane and pentafluorophosphorane (phosphorus pentafluoride) (7.39) and (7.40). Unstable F2H2PNH2 is obtained by reacting HPF2 with ammonia (7.41). [Pg.506]

The 3-coordinated monophosphazane, aminodifluorophosphine, H2N PF2, can be made from ammonia and difluorochlorophosphine (7.42). Alkyl or aryloxy chlorides will also react with ammonia in ether, to give corresponding phosphoramidite derivatives (7.43) and (7.44). [Pg.506]

PFjCl -f NH3 H2N-PF2 -f HCl (MeO)PCl2 + 4NH3 (MeO)P(NH2 2 + 2NH4CI (PhO)2PCl + 2NH3 (PhO)2PNH2 + NH4CI [Pg.506]

Reaction of aminodifluorophosphine with PF2CI yields either tris (difluorophosphino) amine (7.45a) or bis(difluorophosphino) amine (7.45b), depending upon the proportions of reactants used. [Pg.506]
