Phenyltin halides

An independent check for tetrahedral compounds was not possible, but comparisons between Tables XIII and XIV suggest that the [L]-values cannot simply be transferred from one geometry to another. It has recently been suggested that the phenyltin halides Ph3SnX and... [Pg.150]

Column temperatures of llO C for butyltin halides, 180 C for phenyltin halides, and 210°C for octyltin halides were found to be satisfactory. Small variations were made from these temperatures as the columns were progressively exhausted after continuous use. [Pg.333]

Figures 122 and 123 illustrate the resolution for typical butyl-tin and octyltin mixtures. A quantitative calibration is also made for the corresponding alkyl halide present in the mixture usually at less than 5% w/w. The chromatographs for phenyltins are substantially similar to those for the octyltins, with slightly less resolution of the early peaks.
