Petrosia weinbergi orthoesterol disulfate

Three antiviral sterol disulfate orthoesters, orthoesterol disulfates A-C (586-588) were isolated from Petrosia weinbergi and their structures were determined by spectral data elucidation [473]. 

The species Petrosia weinbergi contains several similar disulfated sterols having unique structural characteristics, especially orthoesterols A-C, whose side chains form a cyclic orthoester with the D ring.
