Peroxide Curable HyTemp

Peroxide Curable HyTemp PV-04 is sensitive to the amount of peroxide used, hence it is necessary to use 2.0 pphr of Vulcup 40KE with 2.0 pphr of HVA 2 coagent for optimum properties. Information on this combination is provided in Table 5.7. 

A peroxide curable grade, HyTemp PV-04, is available liom Zeon Chemicals for 0-rings, seals, gaskets as well as binders, adhesives, caulks, and plastic modification. This grade offers good compression set without the need for a post-cure, but is sensitive to exact curative levels [15]. NOK also has a polyacrylate that may be cured with peroxides, but information on it is not readily available. 

Peroxide-curable grade fix)m Zeon Chemical is HyTemp PV-04. It has an oil swell of 45% and a low-temperature resistance of —30°C. This polymer may also be used for plastic modihcation and for sealants or caulks.
