1 Performance Requirements of Fuel Cells for Power Plants 

Fuel cell design configurations for battlefield-based UAVs are discussed, with a major emphasis on cost, size, weight, and structural integrity. Estimates of conversion efficiency and power output for various fuel cells are summarized. Estimated values of current density and terminal voltage for sodium hydro-oxide Na OH and potassium hydro-oxide electrolytes are provided.
