phthalonitriles 114,116, 117 bearing 2,2,3,3-tetrafluoropropoxy groups in 3-, 4- or 4,5-positions were obtained from 3(4)-nitro- or 4,5-dichloro phthalonitriles (113 or 19) in DMSO in the presence of K2CO3 at room temperature (yields 30-50 %) and converted to the corresponding a-, p, and p,p - 2,2,3,3-tetrafluoropropoxy [Pg.653]
