Peanut allergy occurence

Allergies to soy may be a concern for some patients, and there may be a cross-reaction with peanut allergy. Bloating and gas occur, especially in those unaccustomed to soy products. [Pg.799]

Anaphylaxis can occur in response to any allergen. Common causes include insect bites, food allergies (peanuts, brazil and hazelnuts are the most common) and drug allergies. Pollens and other inhaled allergens rarely cause anaphylaxis. [Pg.244]

Most commonly used oil for Oi/On emulsions is paraffln/mineral oils that is known to cause severe lipoid pneumonia,and therefore must be excluded from injectible formulations. However, purified arachis oil may contain peanut proteins that are allergenic.
