Partly C-Chlorinated, SiH-Containing Carbosilanes

Reduction of partly C-chlorinated SiCl-containing carbosilanes enables preparation of the corresponding SiH-containing carbosilanes with a partly chlorinated bridging C atom  [Pg.113]

2(Cl3Si)2CHCl + 3 UAIH4 2(H3Si)2CHCl + 3 LiCl + 3 AlCl [Pg.113]

The resulting (H3Si)2CHCl is a colorless liquid of bp. 63 °C (extrapolated from the vapor pressure curve) and can be obtained in a 70% yield [93]. [Pg.113]

The same procedure applies also to the following partly chlorinated cyclic compounds  [Pg.113]

6 Reactions of Perchlorinated Carbosilanes with Perhydrogenated Carbosilanes [Pg.113]
