Panacyl bromide

The alkylphosphonic acids, MPA, EPA, and PPA, have been determined by direct fluorescence after derivatization with 4-(9-anthroxyloxy)phenacyl bromide (panacyl bromide) (18). The 325-nm line of the HeCd laser was used for excitation. The neutral derivatives required MEKC for the separation and 50 mM sodium cholate was used as the pseudo-stationary phase. Separation was achieved in 33 min and limits of detection ranged from 0.13-0.14 xM (12-17ppb). [Pg.396]

The following fluorescent alkylating agents have been introduced as pre-chromatographic reagents 9-bromo-methylacridine [480], 3-bromomethyl-6,7-dimethoxy-l-methyl-2(lH)-quinoxalinone [481], naphthacyl bromide (2-bromoacetonaphthone) [482, 483], p-(anthroyloxy)-phenacyl bromide (panacyl bromide) [484], 1-bromo-acetylpyrene [485], 9-chloromethy[anthracene [486], and 9-anthryldiazomethane [487, 488]. [Pg.202]

Biotin and dethiobiotin were derivatized with panacyl bromide and separated on a C 8 column (A = 380nm, ex 470 nm, em) using a 15-min 60/40 -> 30/70 water/methanol gradient [332]. Baseline resolution was achieved and elution was complete in <8 min. Linear response was obtained over the concentration range of 10-1000 pmol injected. [Pg.140]

Biotin and dethiobiotin were derivatized with panacyl bromide and separated on a silica column (2 = 380nm, ex 470nm, em) using a 95/5 dichloromethane/... [Pg.277]
