Palythoa liscia

The zoantharia Palythoa liscia from Tombeau Bay, Mauritius, Indian Ocean, was shown to contain glycerol monoethers of chimyl and batyl alcohols with respective contents of about 1/2 (48 and 92 mg from 25 kg wet weight of Palythoa liscia) (Pettit and Fujii, 1982).
