Cooling tower packing (plastic plate or wooden lath)... 

Pack plastic explosive densely against one side of the plate, completely covering it. Use about the same amount of explosive as the weight of the plate.

Plastic packings. Plastic typically floats on water. 

This mechanism of plastic coalescence can provide a route by which fine powders can sinter, just as elastic deformation gave Equation (9.18). For close-packed plastic particles the sintered fraction is... 

When, by contrast, the influence of pressure and temperature on the exudation of silicone fluid is considered, it is evident that these parameters are much more difficult to cxintrol. The pressure depends not only on the amount of silicone fluid in the rubber compound (Fig. 8) but also on the article design and the storage conditions. Given that molded articles are often stored in tightly packed plastic bags for long pericxls, they may well be expected to leak silicone fluid. 

Commodity containing a significant quantity of loosely packed plastics (i.e., CUP and power tool packs) exhibited a rapid increase in the released energy due to plastics involvement early in the lire development. Battery involvement was not observable due to the contribution from the plastics. 

Starch based films degrade quickly while cellulose based films take a long time for degradation. In comparison, films derived from conventional packing plastics do not degrade at all.
