Oxygen halogen compounds fluorinated peroxides

Fluorine readily displaces other halogens from their compounds, but such reactions are not always feasible for preparing fluorides. It reacts with water to form a mixture containing principally oxygen and hydrogen fluoride plus small amounts of ozone, hydrogen peroxide, and oxygen fluoride. [Pg.364]
